Why the higher education needs to rethink its operating system?

The way we lived through the last 3 decades will not define how we will live the next 30 years.

Each society is living through a great change. Facing technological advancements, ecological and geopolitical issues, we find ourselves in a state of constant uncertainty and need for transformation.

The higher education institutions play a major role in providing solutions to meet the global demand for STEM educated workforce. To address this challenge we have developed an agile learning framework for innovation which provides scalable practical learning experiences focused on the future of work.

e1133 developed a framework for work-based learning. We construct experiences, bringing learners closer to the workplace realities and providing transparent and continuous measure of their digital career readiness.

Capability circles

Capability circles are collaborative projects where a small group of learners work together over 6 weeks. A simple task involves Research, Planning, Execution, and Communication; Capability circles help participants tackle real-world challenges, develop solutions, and refine their teamwork skills through 3x2-week sprints.

Each Circle is guided by a Sherpa, who selects a project from a Global Goals menu or creates one aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The group meets bi-weekly to review progress, refine ideas, and receive feedback, enhancing critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a hands-on, interactive environment.

The digital (alfinet) and physical (alfilab) spaces

Our system brings together digital and physical spaces which connect the learners across different locations based on the problems they want to solve.

Innovation space where teams come together to solve problems of their local communities. These are standalone spaces or purpose-built areas within campuses or workplaces.
