Capability circles are collaborative projects where a small group of learners work together over 6 weeks. A simple task involves Research, Planning, Execution, and Communication; Capability circles help participants tackle real-world challenges, develop solutions, and refine their teamwork skills through 3x2-week sprints.
Each Circle is guided by a Sherpa, who selects a project from a Global Goals menu or creates one aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The group meets bi-weekly to review progress, refine ideas, and receive feedback, enhancing critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a hands-on, interactive environment.
e1133 developed a framework for work-based learning. We construct experiences, bringing learners closer to the workplace realities and providing transparent and continuous measure of their digital career readiness.
